Spring Ahead

When you read today’s title did you think Daylight Savings Time or did you think spring is around the corner?   You would have been right either way as today’s blog is about both!

This weekend is Daylight Saving Time 2015 (U.S.) – begins at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 8.  We all know the drill – it means we set our clocks AHEAD as in springing forward.  Sometimes it means there might be a wall clock that requires finding the step ladder to get to set it ahead.   There might be that time lag for a few days where what the time feels like is off by an hour but to me it helps to signal…

Spring is coming!       The photos today I am sharing in this blog were personally taken by me in May 2012 and are among my favorites.  These photos made it into my scrapbook!   SpringFlowers2_2012HR

Here are a few quotes about spring:

“If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?”  – Percy Bysshe Shelley

“In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.”  – Mark Twain

“What more can you ask for than to see a ballgame in spring?” – Hal Newhouser

So if you should be having some still clingy winter weather today, hang on knowing spring is on its way (even if it’s eventually and not today).  Enjoy today!

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
