“Happy” by Pharrell Williams

First of all , we need to make sure you see the official “Happy” video by Pharrell Williams!  The song was written, produced, and performed by American singer and producer Pharrell Williams from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack album in November 2013.  (On Twitter @Pharrell).  It was the most successful song of 2014 including Billboard’s number-one single for 2014 per Wikipedia  (On Twitter @Wikipedia).

In addition, you must go to 24hoursofhappy.com and see the “Pharrell Williams  Happy  – The World’s First 24 hour music video”.  It was filmed all over Los Angeles with every 4 minutes a new scene of a different person(s) singing the song.  It is a LOT of fun!     Based on whatever time it is when you go to the site, you are then automatically taken to that point in the video.  You can of course move around and go to another point in the video by manually clicking.   There is a 24 hour clock overlay on the screen that will show up when you put your mouse cursor on it – at the top of each hour Pharrell sings in the music video to a new setting.    The 4:07 minute official video is full of excerpts from the 24hour version.

And here is the version featuring the Minions:

And there is this to view too: The Making of Pharrell Williams’ HAPPY video.

Thank you to @Pharrell, BlueMountain.com, and @Wikipedia who are referenced in today’s blog post.   And Thank you to @Pharrell especially for your creativity and kudos to BlueMountain.com for coming up with these ecards!

Wishing each of you a HAPPY Wednesday today and every day!

Helen
