Good Timing

Happy Tuesday!  Today’s blog post is short and sweet.

It is already shaping out to be a fast-paced week and even though it may seem like there is no time you can do it!

Today I am encouraging us to pause and insert into our calendar(s) a few minutes this week to: actually dash off a letter; to get the gift you have sitting on the dining table wrapped and into the mail; and/or to book the tickets for the upcoming event you want to actually attend.   The timing is good to do it now.

“I didn’t have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.” – Mark Twain

“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.” – William Penn

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” – Zig Ziglar

How about making a cup of tea and while enjoying it use the stationery you have stashed in the desk drawer.   If you do not have any stationery or are looking for a quick format – we can refer to my July 7th blog post When letters go unanswered (& suggested solution) – it includes our very own personalized form note (template) you can print off and use to fill in the blanks and circle the appropriate answers.  It can  be customized and can use it for snail mail reply form note so that we at least this way have responded to those letters awaiting our reply.

Here’s to actually writing a note and putting it into the mail!  You will enjoy knowing you have made someone’s day when it arrives!

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
